~Story~
In an attempt to propagate Christianity (Catholicism), the Pope formed the Jesuits and sent missionaries around the world.

One of them was Francis Xavier (Known as "Zabil" here due to lost-in-translation being the side effect).
Xavier was sent to Japan.

Note: This is not where history begins.
However, Japan was already in seclusion, and Xavier came to
Xavier came to Japan and said, ‘Please stop your isolation and let me propagate Christianity...’
Xavier said, but Japan ignored him.
He was so persistent that the Japanese kidnapped Xavier's wife, Peach-Xavier.
Xavier's patience was wearing thin and he decided to force his way into Japan to save Peach-Xavier, while at the same time proselytising Christianity.
However, when Xavier entered Japan, he had a hard time because everyone was a Buddhist.
In addition, the guns he had brought to Japan were quite strong, and he died several times from them, but he managed to get away with it.
He was able to save the missionary and Peach Xavier and returned to Portugal in high spirits. (Stayed in Japan until 8-4)

~Gameplay~
At the end of each level there is a flag with the word ‘Buddha’ on it, take it down.
Put up the flag that says ‘YES Christ’ and proselytise Christianity.
(Save Peach-Xavier too.)

The coins are called ‘Christ Coins’ and if you collect 100 of them, you will receive God's blessing (1UP).

Xavier gets a power-up by taking the ‘Hair Removal Agent’. (why?)
