**THIS IS A ZELDA 2 ROM HACK.** The patch is for `Zelda II - The Adventure of Link[U].nes` and NOT for mario 1! If the patch doesn't work, please make sure you are patching zelda 2 not mario 1

Mario sets out on his most adventuresome journey yet! Explore the land of Hyrule using 100% authentic Mario 1 physics and movement. Traverse the vast overworld, defeating dangerous Iron Knuckles and other familiar Zelda 2 enemies using the spells and tricks that Mario will find along the way. It's Mario 1 in Zelda 2. What else would you expect?

Will Mario save the princess as he always does?

QUALITY OF LIFE CHANGES:

* Choosing CONTINUE at the game over screen while in a palace will restart you at that palace. Careful, if you game over outside of a palace, you will go back to the start of the game.
* When in the spell menu, press UP + SELECT to enter the game over menu. You can use this to CONTINUE and reset your lives before starting a palace (but be warned you will lose your EXP!)
* Instant text boxes
* Your most recent spell is stored, so you can continue to cast it with SELECT until you change spells
* And many more... :)
